Wyonics selected as a recipient of the U.S. Department of Energy Voucher Opportunity 5 Commercialization Support – In collaboration with INL

Wyonics LLC has been selected for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Voucher Opportunity 5 (VO5) under the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM). This program aids innovators in carbon management and resource sustainability. Wyonics will collaborate with Idaho National Laboratory (INL), who will receive approximately $244,000 to support this work. INL’s role involves conducting thorough commercial and supply chain assessments in consideration of Wyonics’ technologies for the selective extraction, separation, and recovery of lanthanides (rare earth elements) from various resources. This effort builds on Wyonics’ Phase I SBIR grant to develop critical material extraction technologies, essential for clean energy.
